Brimmer and May School Dedication

(Chestnut Hill, MA - 19 September 2006) Dedication ceremonies were held at Brimmer and May School on Friday, September 15, 2006 to mark the opening of their new Robert B. Almy Academic Center. The ceremony is the culmination of 11 months of construction, performed by Richard White Sons, Inc,. to create a new, below grade, 11,500 square foot addition to the existing Chase Building, an open air courtyard providing light and air to the new academic spaces and a rebuilt natural grass athletic field. The addition includes science classrooms and library spaces.

The project posed its own unique challenges with a student body ranging from early childhood-
