Richard
White Sons Conducts Safety Site Tour with Students
at
Dedham Country Day School
| (Auburndale, MA - 20 May 2004) A tour of
the construction site at Dedham Country Day School, a
coeducational School for pre-kindergarten
through grade eight, for their new Upper
School building was led by Steve Tocci,
Superintendent with Richard White Sons.
The firm had been chosen as the Construction Manager to build the new
18,600 SF, two-story structure for grades 6
through 8.

The tour covered building excavation and ledge
removal, basic foundation and concrete
placement, and the assembly of the
superstructure from structural steel to interior
finishes. Steve emphasized safety and the
need for students to maintain awareness of the
construction operations as they go about their
daily routines on campus. The tour completed with a question
and answer session for students.
