Work at 1149-1151 Washington Street in West Newton is progressing with the demolition of an existing 3-story house and 1-story garage building.

The new 2-story, 8,205 sq. ft. office building will include a partial basement and concrete foundation and will be constructed of steel frame with masonry and aluminum window envelope and a flat roof.
 

The interior fit-up of the office space for the insurance company will commence once the building is weather tight.

Because of the site location on congested Washington Street, the Team took special caution with deliveries and truck traffic to work around the the existing heavy vehicular traffic. They also stayed in close communication with neighbors who are in close proximity to the site to keep them apprised of the schedule.
