Ursuline Academy Dedicates New Science Wing
(Dedham, MA) Along with members of Ursuline Academy’s Board of Trustees, faculty, students, the entire School community, and Keefe Associates. Inc., Architects, Richard White Sons Inc., proudly attended the recent dedication of the Academy’s new Laboratory Sciences Classroom Wing.  The event began with a Eucharistic Mass and included a blessing of the new building.
 
Founded in 1946, Ursuline Academy is an independent, college preparatory day school
for young women in grades 7 through 12.
Owned and operated by the Ursuline Sisters,
a worldwide teaching order, Ursuline is a
private, Catholic school.  Ursuline Academy’s mission is to maintain the balance between
a rigorous academic program and the total development of the student’s heart, will,
and intellect.

In announcing the dedication, Lisa Rubini,
Ursuline Academy Director of Development remarked: “We are certainly pleased to have
an
addition dedicated to the sciences.  For us
this is quite an historic event since this is the
first major renovation to Ursuline since its
opening in 1959 in Dedham.”

Richard White Sons Inc., was pleased to be recognized during the dedication ceremonies for their involvement in the planning and execution of this very challenging and
exciting undertaking as the Academy’s Construction Manager.  The firm managed
the construction of this multi-functional
three-level, 18,000 square foot lateral
addition located directly adjacent to the School’s occupied building.
