Harvard Business School, Hamilton Hall Renovation and Restoration

Boston, MA

Harvard Business School’s Hamilton Hall is a 72-room dormitory, brick over steel frame with four stories plus basement. Renovation included complete interior gut (removal of all interior partitions and MEP), exterior window replacement, and full renovation including new steel-framed partition walls, all-new electric, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and all new fixtures and furnishings. The 50,000 SF project was completed on time and on budget.

Richard White Sons kept a major electrical substation operational throughout the life of the project.

Awarded Boston’s Greenest Building by the American Institute of Architects and Mayor Thomas M. Menino.

LEED Gold certified by the US Green Building Council.
