The Somerset Club, Phase II, Interior Renovations

Beacon Hill, Boston, MA

Interior renovations of this 130-year old historic structure on Beacon Hill, Boston, included complete electrical, HVAC, and structural upgrades as well as all new finishes throughout. A new kitchen and elevators were installed requiring extensive structural shoring and bracing during construction.

A vertical roof expansion helped create a new spacious gathering parlor on the top floor.

Several guest rooms were updated and renovated to comply with ADA regulations.

Strict adherence to neighborhood noise ordinances were adhered to; site deliveries / logistics were challenging given the proximity to the State Capital building.
