Brimmer & May School, Underground Classroom and Fields

Chestnut Hill, MA

This project encompassed the renovation and expansion of the Brimmer and May Middle / Upper School Classroom Building.

Because of the school's highly restricted campus, the new addition was designed and built entirely below grade, allowing the re-constructed Athletic Field to extend over the new building.

Renovation of the existing science classrooms on the lower level was completed during summer recess.

This complex project received a BSA Design Award for Site Innovation on a K-12 Facility.
