General Contracting

Richard White Sons provides general contracting services on a lump-sum bid basis. We cultivate relationships with our prequalified subcontractors and leverage that with our vast wealth of construction expertise to maintain the most critical elements of a project: cost, quality, and schedule. The Richard White Sons difference is rather than simply deliver the “low number” we ensure all of our subcontractors fully cover the scope provided within the drawings to ensure the maximum quality and value to our clients.

Self-Performed Work

Our organization includes a substantial roster of highly skilled trade workers. As a result, Richard White Sons has the capacity to self-perform multiple trades of work on a given project. Our specialized skills enable us to meet the toughest standards for flexibility, rapid response, and control of cost, schedule, quality, and coordination. Richard Whites Sons self-performs the work of key trades when doing so enhances our client's needs. We will only self perform work when there is a financial benefit to the Owner to do so. On projects where we do not self-perform, our practical know-how assures first-rate subcontractor management—a distinct advantage over construction managers that lack hands-on experience. Our tradesmen set the standard for quality and, if necessary, augment subcontractor staffing to keep the project on schedule and in line with expectations.
