(Auburndale, MA – 07 September 2007) Richard White Sons, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Erik J. Sanford to Director of Virtual Construction. Erik joined the firm seven years ago after serving in the United States Army and National Guard.

Erik will develop and implement corporate-wide Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards as well as software training in this technology.  Utilizing BIM, all infrastructure and building systems will be coordinated prior to construction in order to expedite installation of all project components, while validating the proposed design through the creation of three dimensional models.
